Lapierre XR 9.9

The 2022 Lapierre XR 9.9 is a state-of-the-art mountain bike designed specifically for demanding cross-country riders. Priced at 6,899 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of advanced technology and high-quality components. The XR 9.9’s frame features a new XR full-carbon design with 100 mm of travel, designed for 29-inch wheels. It features a Team lay-up, a PressFit bottom bracket, Boost standards and a metric thru-axle, which together ensure exceptional stiffness and lightness.

For braking performance, the bike is fitted with SRAM LEVEL TLM brakes, which feature two pistons and ensure precise control and reliability. Shifting is handled by the SRAM XX1 Eagle 12-speed system, complemented by the SRAM XO1 Lunar Eagle shifter, enabling seamless and efficient gear changes. The cassette is an SRAM XG1275 with a 10–52T range, offering a wide variety of gears.

The handlebars are a Progress Carbon Combo Cockpit with a width of 760 mm and a diameter of 31.8 mm, fitted with Lapierre ‘Fit’ grips, which are available in small or large sizes depending on the frame size. The stem is integrated and available in sizes 50 mm (S), 60 mm (M/L) or 70 mm (XL). The FSA Integrated headset system ensures precise steering.

The Maxxis Rekon Race EXO TR tyres, sized 29x2.35, offer excellent grip and durability, whilst the new Lapierre Carbon XC SL wheelset, featuring a Boost XD hub and 6-bolt disc mount, ensures a lightweight and robust wheel structure. The Fizik Taiga saddle in black offers comfort on long rides, whilst the Lapierre Carbon Light seatpost, with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 400 mm, provides additional weight savings.
