Lapierre Spicy CF Team

The 2022 Lapierre Spicy CF Team model is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its top-class specifications and modern technology. The frame is made from full carbon and, with 170 mm of suspension travel, offers excellent stability and control on challenging trails. The bike is designed for 29-inch wheels and features a Boost design as well as a metric shock mount with a thru-axle, which further enhances stiffness and riding precision.

The Spicy CF Team’s braking system consists of SRAM CODE RSC Rainbow 4-piston brakes, which ensure reliable and powerful deceleration. Shifting is handled by an SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, combined with a MatchMaker shifter and an XX1 Eagle Rainbow crankset to ensure precise and smooth shifting performance. The crankset is a SRAM Descendant Carbon Eagle with Boost standard, available in both 170 mm and 175 mm lengths, depending on frame size.

Suspension is provided by the RockShox ZEB Ultimate Charger 2.1 RC2 fork with 170 mm of travel and the RockShox Super Deluxe Air Ultimate RCT rear shock. These components offer excellent damping and enable the rider to maintain control even on challenging terrain. The pedals are robust FPD NW-91K models with steel cages, ensuring a secure grip.

A ZIPP 3ZERO MOTO carbon wheelset has been chosen, which is equipped with TyreWiz and is tubeless-ready. These wheels are paired with Schwalbe tyres: the Magic Mary at the front and the Big Betty at the rear, both in the Super Trail version with Addix compound, which are renowned for their excellent grip and durability.

The handlebars are a Race Face SixC carbon model with a width of 785 mm and a rise of 20 mm, which, together with the Lapierre CNC-machined stem, ensures a comfortable and stable steering geometry. The grips are ergonomically shaped Lapierre ‘Fit’ grips, available in different sizes depending on the frame size.

The saddle is a Lapierre Crmo by Velo model, mounted on a RockShox Reverb seatpost, which offers a travel of 125 mm to 150 mm depending on frame size. The Lapierre Spicy CF Team is priced at 8,599 euros, making it an attractive choice for ambitious mountain bikers who value quality and performance.
