Lapierre SPICY CF 6.9

The "SPICY CF 6.9" model from Lapierre, released in 2021, is a high-performance mountain bike designed specifically for challenging trails and descents. The bike’s frame is made from SPICY FULL CARBON ULTIMATE material, which is renowned for its lightness and stability. With 170 mm of suspension travel and 29-inch tyres, the frame offers the necessary robustness and flexibility for challenging terrain. The use of a PressFit bottom bracket and Boost standard ensures additional stiffness and improved power transfer.

For the brakes, Lapierre has opted for the SRAM G2 R GLOSS BLACK four-piston calipers, which guarantee reliable braking performance even in difficult conditions. The handlebars on the SPICY CF 6.9 are made from LAPIERRE 6061DB aluminium with a diameter of 31.8 mm. They are available in two sizes: 760 mm with a 15 mm rise for sizes S and M, and 780 mm with a 30 mm rise for L and XL. The grips are ergonomically designed and available in two sizes to ensure optimum grip. The stem is made from CNC-machined aluminium and varies in length depending on frame size: 35 mm for S, 40 mm for M and 45 mm for L/XL.

The bike’s hubs are LAPIERRE BY FASTACE DF813, manufactured to the Boost standard with a width of 15x110 mm and featuring 32 spokes. The saddle is a LAPIERRE CRMO by Velo, which offers comfort on long rides. The seatpost is a LAPIERRE DROPPER by JD with a travel of 130 mm for size S and 150 mm for sizes M, L and XL, allowing for quick adjustment of the seat height.
