Lapierre Prorace CF 9.9

The 2022 Lapierre Prorace CF 9.9 is a high-quality mountain bike fitted with a wide range of top-class components. The bike’s frame is made from New Prorace 29" carbon and, with its PressFit system and Boost standard, provides a solid and stiff foundation. The 12x148mm thru-axle ensures additional stability and precision off-road.

For braking performance, the bike is fitted with black SRAM Level TLM brakes, which utilise the Stealth-a-majig system and provide reliable stopping power. The rear derailleur is also from SRAM – specifically, the X01 Eagle AXS with a 12-speed drivetrain, which, together with the SRAM GX AXS EAGLE shifter, ensures smooth gear changes. The RockShox SID SL Ultimate Charger Race Day fork, with 100mm of travel and Boost standard in gloss black, offers excellent damping characteristics for demanding trails.

The bottom bracket is a SRAM DUB Press Fit 92 and is paired with the SRAM X1 Carbon Eagle DUB crankset, which comes in different lengths depending on frame size (170mm for S, 175mm for M, L, XL). The cassette is an SRAM XG1275 Eagle with a 10–52T range, offering a wide selection of gears.

The Prorace CF 9.9’s handlebars are FSA SLK carbon flat bars, 740mm wide with a 31.8mm diameter, fitted with Lapierre foam grips which vary depending on frame size. The stem is made from 7050 aluminium, 3D-forged, with a 7° angle and a length of 60mm (for S, M) or 70mm (for L, XL).

Maxxis Rekon Race EXO TR tyres in size 29x2.35 with 120 TPI and 3C MaxTerra compound offer excellent grip and traction. The wheelset consists of Lapierre Carbon XC 29'' Boost XD rims with a 6-bolt mount, ensuring a lightweight yet stable ride.

The Fizik Taiga saddle in black ensures comfort on long rides, whilst the Lapierre Carbon seatpost, with a diameter of 27.2mm and a length of 400mm, offers additional lightness.
