Lapierre Prorace CF 7.9

The 2022 “Prorace CF 7.9” from Lapierre is a high-quality mountain bike designed for demanding riders. Priced at 3299 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features suitable for both competitions and ambitious tours.

The bike’s frame is made from lightweight and robust carbon and features a New Prorace 29" design. It features a PressFit bottom bracket and a Boost rear axle with a 12x148mm thru-axle system, which provides additional stability and stiffness.

The braking system consists of black SRAM Level TL brakes, which are fitted with Stealth-a-majig technology and ensure reliable braking performance. The drivetrain comprises a SRAM X01 Eagle 12-speed groupset and SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed shifters, which enable precise and smooth gear changes.

The handlebars are made from Lapierre 6061 alloy, are 740 mm wide and have a diameter of 31.8 mm. The grips are made from foam and vary in size depending on the frame size. The stem is also made from Lapierre 7050 alloy, has a 7° angle and a length of 60 mm for sizes S and M, and 70 mm for L and XL.

The headset is an FSA Orbit C-40-ACB NO.42/ACB-A, which ensures precise steering. The Maxxis Rekon Race EXO TR tyres, sized 29x2.35, offer excellent grip and traction on a variety of surfaces. The wheelset consists of DT Swiss X1900 Spline Boost 6-bolt wheels, which are renowned for their reliability.

The saddle is a black Fizik Taiga, which offers comfort on long rides, whilst the seatpost is made from Lapierre Alloy Forged, with a diameter of 27.2 mm and a length of 400 mm.
