Lapierre OVV HT 8.6

The 2022 ‘OVV HT 8.6’ model from Lapierre is a versatile e-bike that, at a price of 3,299 euros, is positioned in the mid-range segment. The frame is made from the robust Overvolt Yamaha Supreme 5 Alloy, which provides the bike with a solid foundation for demanding rides.

Braking performance is provided by the Shimano M4100 hydraulic brakes, which operate reliably and precisely. The drivetrain is fitted with the Shimano Deore RD-M5100, 11-speed Shadow+, which, in combination with the Shimano Deore M5100 11-speed shifter, ensures smooth gear changes. The bike’s fork is the SR Suntour XCR 34 Air LO, which, with 120 mm of travel and a 29-inch size, ensures a comfortable ride.

The pedal system is supplied by XLC by VP, whilst the Lapierre Overvolt crankset features a 170 mm length and a 34T narrow-wide chainring. The rims are Rodi Tryp 30 tubeless-ready and measure 30-622 (29 inches) with 32 spoke holes. The tyres are WTB Ranger, measuring 2.6x29''. The front and rear hubs are DA210 models with Boost dimensions and Centre Lock systems, with the rear hub additionally fitted with four sealed bearings.

The saddle is the Selle Royal Vivo Sport Men model, 145 mm wide, and the seatpost is a Lapierre dropper post with a travel of 80 mm (for size S) or 100 mm (for sizes M, L and XL). The e-bike is powered by a Yamaha PW-ST motor, designed for speeds of up to 25 km/h, combined with an Intube battery with a capacity of 630 Wh.
