Lapierre OVV HT 5.5

The Lapierre "OVV HT 5.5" model from 2022 is a versatile e-bike which, at a price of 2899 EUR, falls within the mid-range price bracket. It is fitted with a robust Overvolt Bosch Supreme 5 aluminium frame, which ensures stability and durability. The bike’s brakes are Tektro HD-M275s, which provide reliable braking performance. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Alivio RD-M3100 9-speed Shadow rear derailleur, which, in combination with the Shimano Alivio SLM3100 9-speed shifter, enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The SR Suntour XCM 32 DS fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain. The bike is fitted with XLC by VP pedals and features a Lapierre Overvolt crankset, 170 mm in length, with a 34T narrow-wide chainring. The cassette is a Shimano HG200 11-36T 9-speed, and power is transmitted via a KMC e9 Sport Silver-black 9-speed chain.

The handlebars are XLC Alloy 6061 DB, 720 mm wide, with a 15 mm rise and a diameter of 31.8 mm, complemented by Velo lock-on grips for optimum grip. The stem is made from an aluminium alloy with a 0° angle and a length of 45 mm. The headset is a Feimin FP868P 1.1/8" – 1.5 tapered, which ensures precise steering.

The Schürmann Yak25 rims are fitted with WTB Ranger Comp 2.3x29'' tyres, which provide excellent traction on a variety of surfaces. The front hub is a DA210, Boost 15x110, and the rear hub is a DA210 with four sealed bearings, Boost 12x148; both have 32 spoke holes and a 6-bolt mount for brake discs.

The saddle is a DDK model and is supported by an XLC alloy seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 350 mm. The bike is powered by a Bosch Performance Line ‘25kph’ motor, which is powered by a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 500 Wh. The Purion display allows for easy control and monitoring of the e-bike system. Overall, the OVV HT 5.5 offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability for a wide range of riding conditions.
