Lapierre OVV AM 7.7

The 2022 Lapierre OVV AM 7.7 is a high-quality e-mountain bike designed for discerning riders who tackle both technical terrain and long rides. This model is priced at 5799 EUR. The bike’s frame features a new Overvolt design with 160 mm of suspension travel and an integrated Bosch Supreme 5 Aluminium motor, fitted with a UDH dropout.

Braking performance is provided by the SRAM GUIDE RE brakes with four pistons, which ensure reliable deceleration in every situation. The drivetrain is a 12-speed SRAM GX Lunar Eagle, controlled by the SRAM NX Single Click Eagle shifter, which enables precise and fast gear changes. The RockShox ZEB Charger R fork, with 170 mm of travel and a 44 mm offset, combined with the RockShox Deluxe Select R shock, delivers outstanding suspension performance.

The pedals are VP VPE-527, whilst the crankset is made from E13 E-spec+ aluminium, sized to match the frame size with 160 mm for S/M and 165 mm for L/XL, complemented by a 34-tooth SRAM Eagle steel chainring. The cassette is a SRAM PG1230 Eagle with an 11–50T range across 12 speeds. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM NX Eagle Powerlock chain.

The handlebars, made from Lapierre 6061DB aluminium, are 780 mm wide with a rise of 15 mm for S/M and 30 mm for L/XL, and a diameter of 31.8 mm. The grips are by Lapierre, tailored to the frame size with a small diameter for S/M and a large diameter for L/XL. The stem is also CNC-machined by Lapierre, with a length of 40 mm for S/M and 45 mm for L/XL, and a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The headset is an FSA NO.55R/57E in anodised black, with a size of 1-1/8"-1.5". The tyres are Maxxis Assegai 29x2.5 WT at the front and Maxxis Minion DHR II 27.5x2.8 at the rear, both featuring EXO+ protection and Tubeless Ready. The wheelset is the Lapierre eAM+ made from aluminium with Tubeless Ready rims.

The saddle is a Fizik Terra Aidon X5, 145 mm wide, mounted on a Lapierre telescopic seatpost with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a travel of 100 mm (S), 130 mm (M) or 150 mm (L/XL), controlled via an MMX remote.

At the heart of the drivetrain is the Bosch Performance Line CX Gen4 motor, combined with a Bosch PowerTube battery with a capacity of 750 Wh, controlled via an LED remote display. This combination offers impressive assistance and range for extended off-road rides.
