Lapierre OVERVOLT TR 4.5

The 2021 Lapierre OVERVOLT TR 4.5 is a versatile e-mountain bike that stands out for its well-thought-out features and robust construction. The frame is made from the high-quality OVERVOLT OST+ 120mm YAMAHA SUPREME 5 ALLOY BOOST, which is compatible with an updated mount for the PW ST motor and features an additional plastic cover. This design ensures stability and durability, whilst the 120 mm suspension travel enables a comfortable ride on challenging trails.

Braking performance is provided by the SHIMANO MT401 brakes, which offer reliable control in a variety of riding situations. The gear system is provided by the SHIMANO DEORE RD M5100 11-speed system, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. At the front is a SUNTOUR XCR 34 AIR fork with 130 mm of travel, which, with its Solo Air technology and black stanchions, ensures good damping. The LAPIERRE METRIC shock absorber, measuring 190x40 mm, complements the suspension system and contributes to improved shock absorption.

The bike is fitted with FPD NW 91K pedals, which provide a solid platform for the rider. The LAPIERRE OVERVOLT YAMAHA JIS NARROW WIDE crankset, with 32 teeth and a length of 170 mm, together with the SHIMANO DEORE CS M5100 cassette (11-51T) and the KMC e11 Sport EPT chain, ensures an efficient drivetrain. The LAPIERRE ALLOY 6061DB handlebars are 740 mm wide, have a 15 mm rise and a diameter of 31.8 mm, enabling comfortable and controlled steering. The LAPIERRE DD34 Lock-on grips provide additional grip.

The LAPIERRE ALLOY stem has a 0° angle and a length of 50 mm, which contributes to stable handling. The FSA Orbit 1.5 ZS NO.57SC headset ensures precise steering manoeuvres. The hubs, developed by LAPIERRE in collaboration with FASTACE, are designed to the BOOST standard and offer increased stiffness and stability. The LAPIERRE by VELO saddle, together with the LAPIERRE DROPPER seatpost – which offers different travel lengths of 100 mm or 130 mm for sizes S, M, L and XL – ensures comfort and adaptability on the trail.

The integrated YAMAHA PW ST battery, with a capacity of 500Wh, provides sufficient power for longer rides and is complemented by an LCD display that provides the rider with key information.
