Lapierre OVERVOLT GLP ELITE

Lapierre’s 2021 ‘OVERVOLT GLP ELITE’ model is a high-performance e-mountain bike equipped with a range of high-quality components, designed to perform well on both challenging trails and longer rides. The bike’s frame consists of an integrated Bosch Carbon Boost with 160 mm of travel, ensuring stability and durability. Braking performance is provided by SHIMANO XT 4-piston brakes, which offer reliable deceleration and control in every riding situation.

The bike’s drivetrain is fitted with a SHIMANO XT 12-speed system, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The ROCKSHOX ZEB CHARGER RC fork, with 170 mm of travel and a 44 mm offset, offers outstanding damping characteristics and contributes to excellent riding performance. In addition, the ROCKSHOX SUPER DELUXE SELECT+ RT shock absorber with trunnion mount ensures optimum suspension and comfort on uneven terrain.

The bike is fitted with VP VPE 527 pedals and an E13 E spec+ Alloy crankset, which measures 160 mm in lengths for sizes S/M and 165 mm for sizes L/XL. The E13 Alloy chainring with 34 teeth perfectly complements the drivetrain. The SHIMANO SLX cassette with 10–51T offers a wide gear range, whilst the SHIMANO DEORE 12s drivetrain ensures efficient power transfer.

The LAPIERRE ALLOY 6061DB handlebars have different dimensions depending on frame size: S/M with a width of 760 mm and a rise of 15 mm, and L/XL with a width of 780 mm and a rise of 30 mm. The grips are tailored to the frame size to ensure optimum grip. The stem, also from Lapierre, is CNC-machined and measures 40 mm in length for S/M and 45 mm for L/XL.

The bike is fitted with an FSA Orbit 1.5 ZS headset and runs on LAPIERRE eAM+ ALLOY tyres measuring 622x33c. The LAPIERRE by VELO saddle, together with the JD DROPPER “RAD Travel adjust” seatpost, ensures comfort, with the seatpost offering different travel depending on the frame size: 125 mm (S), 150 mm (M/L) and 170 mm (XL).

The drivetrain is powered by the BOSCH PERFORMANCE CX GEN4 motor, which, in combination with a 500Wh Powerpack Purion battery, provides sufficient power for extended rides. Overall, the OVERVOLT GLP ELITE offers a well-thought-out combination of high-quality components and state-of-the-art technology, making it an excellent companion for demanding mountain bike adventures.
