Lapierre eZesty AM 9.2

The 2022 Lapierre eZesty AM 9.2 is a high-quality e-mountain bike that impresses with both its technical specifications and its performance. The frame is made from eZesty AM Full Carbon Ultimate material and offers 150 mm of suspension travel, which, combined with the Boost standard and the metric thru-axle design, ensures robust and responsive handling.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano XT 8120 four-piston brakes, which ensure reliable and powerful deceleration. The drivetrain comprises a Shimano Deore XT RD-M8100 with 12 speeds, controlled by the Shimano Deore M6100 shift levers. This enables precise gear changes and optimal adaptation to different types of terrain.

Suspension is provided by a Fox 36 Float Performance fork with 150 mm of travel and a Fox Float DPS Performance LV Evol Trunnion shock, which has been specially tuned by Lapierre. This combination offers excellent damping and control on challenging trails. The bottom bracket is supported by the FAZUA RIDE 50 system, which, together with the Ethirteen espec Plus crankset in sizes 165 mm (M) and 170 mm (L & XL), enables efficient pedalling.

Power is transmitted via a Shimano Deore 12-speed cassette with a 10-51T gear range, offering a wide range of gears for various riding conditions. The handlebars, made from Lapierre 6061DB alloy, are available in widths of 760 mm (S) and 780 mm (M/L) and ensure a comfortable riding position. The grips are available in various sizes to ensure optimum comfort.

The stem is a CNC-machined Lapierre model with a 0° angle and lengths of 35 mm (M/L) and 45 mm (XL), which contributes to the bike’s stability. The headset is an FSA Orbit Zero Stack, which ensures precise steering. The Maxxis High Roller II Wide Trail tyres, measuring 29” at the front and 27.5” at the rear, offer excellent grip and control on a wide variety of surfaces.

The wheelset consists of Lapierre eAM+ Alloy rims, which are tubeless-ready and thus provide improved puncture resistance. The Fizik Terra Aidon X5 saddle, with a width of 145 mm, offers comfort even on longer rides. The JD Dropper seatpost allows for individual adjustment of the seat height with an adjustment range of 125 mm (S) to 150 mm (M/L).

At the heart of the drivetrain is the NEW Fazua RIDE 50 motor, paired with a 250Wh battery pack and a Touch Remote, which provides smooth assistance whilst pedalling. The price for this model is 6299 EUR, making it an attractive choice for ambitious mountain bikers who value quality and performance.
