Lapierre EDGE 2.9

The "EDGE 2.9" model from Lapierre, released in 2021, is a mountain bike that stands out for its carefully selected components and robust construction. The bike’s frame is made from EDGE 29” SUPREME 4 ALLOY and is designed for disc brakes. It also features internal cable routing, which ensures a tidy appearance and protects the cables from external damage.

The EDGE 2.9’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes, specifically the MT200 model, which ensures reliable braking performance in a variety of conditions. The gear system is provided by the Shimano Tourney RDTY300 with 7 speeds, allowing for easy and effective adaptation to different types of terrain.

Suspension is provided by the SR Suntour XCE28 fork, which features 100 mm of travel to absorb bumps in the terrain. The bike is fitted with Xerama SP 400 pedals, which offer a stable platform for the rider.

The stem is also from XLC and is made of an aluminium alloy with a diameter of 31.8 mm and a length of 60 mm, at an angle of 6 degrees.

The headset is an FSA NO.10 Semi-Integrated model, which contributes to stability and steering precision. The bike’s hubs are Shimano HBTX505 models with 32 spoke holes and a Centre Lock mount for the brake discs, fitted with quick-release (QR) mechanisms for easy wheel fitting and removal.

The saddle on the EDGE 2.9 is an XLC by DDK model, which ensures comfort on longer rides. The seatpost is also made from an aluminium alloy by XLC, with a diameter of 31.6 mm and a length of 400 mm, allowing for individual adjustment of the seat height.
