Lapierre AIRCODE DRS 5.0

The "AIRCODE DRS 5.0" model from Lapierre from 2024 is a high-quality road bike designed for demanding riders. The frame is made of Aircode DRS Disc Thru axle UD Superlight Carbon, which not only gives the bike an impressive lightness, but also high rigidity and stability. With a permissible total weight of 110 kg, the bike is robust enough to safely support a wide range of riders.

The equipment of the AIRCODE DRS 5.0 includes a Shimano 105 Disc brake system with 160/140 mm discs, which ensures reliable and precise braking performance. The drivetrain is combined with the Shimano 105 R7000, 12-speed, which is known for smooth and precise gear changes. The Shimano 105 R7100 front derailleur complements the shifting system perfectly. The rigid fork contributes to stability and control at high speeds.

Other features include VP-335 Clips&Strap pedals and a Shimano Press Fit BB71-41B bottom bracket. The Shimano 105 R7100 crankset is equipped with different crank arm lengths depending on the frame size: 170 mm for XS and S, 172.5 mm for M and L, and 175 mm for XL. The Shimano R7100 crankset offers a gear ratio of 11-34T on 12 gears, while the drive is supported by the Shimano 105 CN-M7100 chain.

The Lapierre UD carbon handlebars are available in widths of 400 mm (XS, S) and 420 mm (M, L, XL) and offer a drop of 130 mm and a reach of 80 mm. The grips are fitted with Lapierre Vexgel tape for comfort. The stem has an angle of -5.7° and is available in different lengths depending on the frame size. The headset is an integrated Acros model with Aircode Acros spacers.

The SCHWALBE ONE Perf tyres with RaceGuard, MicroSkin and TLE technology were chosen for the tyres, which are mounted on a Lapierre Road 700c Alloy Discbrake wheelset. The Prologo Dimension STN Rails saddle offers comfort even on longer rides, while the Lapierre Aero Carbon seatpost with an offset of 0 mm rounds off the overall package.

With a price tag of EUR 3799, the AIRCODE DRS 5.0 offers excellent value for money for cyclists who value performance, quality and design.
