KTM WILDCAT 24

The "WILDCAT 24" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a versatile and robust children’s bike, available for 649 EUR. The frame is made from a 24" 6061 KID WILD CAT / K-7440 alloy and provides a stable base for young riders. With a total weight of 13 kg and a maximum load capacity of 64 kg, the bike is light enough for children to handle with ease, yet sturdy enough to remain safe and stable.

The WILDCAT 24 is fitted with Tektro TS325A / 855AL V-brakes, which provide reliable braking performance. The gear system consists of a Shimano Tourney TY200-6/7, which has 18 gears and is operated via the Shimano Tourney RS36-6 Revoshifter with display. The front derailleur is a Shimano Tourney TY500, which enables precise and smooth gear changes.

The rigid aluminium fork ensures a direct riding feel, whilst lighting is provided by an AXA Pico15 Switch LED front light with 15 lux and a Trelock Duo Flat LS 613 rear light, which enhances safety in low-light conditions. The pedals are KTM Line Youngster pedals, which have been specially designed for children’s feet.

The drivetrain consists of a VP-BC75T 120mm bottom bracket, a Lasco 3CF5843SP crankset with 42-32-22T chainrings and a Shimano TZ500-6 / 14-28 sprocket cassette. The chain is a KMC Z7, which is renowned for its durability.

The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer, 560mm wide with a 15° backsweep, which allows for a comfortable and controlled riding position. The grips are KTM Line Youngster WILD grips, which have been specially designed for children’s hands. The stem is a KTM Line Youth Stem, which, together with the KTM Line Youngster 1-1/8" headset, ensures stable steering.

The tyres are Rubena V41 WALRUS 47-507, fitted to both the front and rear, and offer good grip on a variety of surfaces. The front wheelset consists of a combination of KTM Line - Shimano ADHC30003 28H hubs and REMERX DRAGON rims (507x19), whilst the rear features KTM Line - QUANDO 28H KT-A11R hubs with the same rims. Both wheelsets are fitted with Richman 2.0 INOX spokes in silver.

The saddle is a comfortable KTM Line Youngster saddle, mounted on a KTM Line 27.2 seatpost. The saddle is clamped in place using a KTM Line Kids Clamp QR with a diameter of 31.8mm.

Additional features include RPZ 24" KTM55 spec black glossy mudguards, a Horn Catena Compact 44T chain guard, an adjustable KTM Centre stand for 24"-28" bikes and a Standwell SW-CS012SKTM luggage rack.
