KTM WILDCAT 20

The "WILDCAT 20" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a versatile children’s bike that offers good value for money at a price of 599 EUR. The frame is made from a 20" 6061 KID WILD CAT / K-7040 alloy, and the maximum load capacity is 62 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 11 kg.

The bike is fitted with Tektro TS325A / 855AL V-brakes, which ensure reliable braking performance. The gear system is based on the Shimano Tourney TY200-6/7 system, controlled by a Shimano Tourney RS36-6 Revoshifter with a display, and offers a total of 6 gears. The rigid fork is made from an aluminium alloy, which contributes to the bike’s light weight.

The lighting comprises an AXA Pico15 Switch LED front light with 15 lux and a Trelock Duo Flat LS 613 rear light, which ensure good visibility in road traffic. The pedals are KTM Line Youngster pedals and the bottom bracket is a VP-BC75T with a length of 120mm. The crankset is a Lasco RCF0136S with 36 teeth, and the cassette is a Shimano TZ500-6 with a range of 14–28 teeth. Power is transmitted via a KMC Z7 chain.

The handlebars are KTM Line Rizer 20 BS with a 15° rise and a width of 520mm, whilst the grips have been specially developed for the WILDCAT 20 model. The stem is a KTM Line Youth Stem and the headset is a KTM Line Youngster 1-1/8". The tyres, front and rear, are Rubena V41 WALRUS 47-406 in black.

The wheelset consists, at the front, of a combination of KTM Line – Shimano DH-C3000-3 28H Nut / REMERX DRAGON28H 406x19 / RM 2.0 INOX in silver, and at the rear of KTM Line - Formula 28H FM-31R Nut / REMERX DRAGON28H 406x19 / RM 2.0 INOX in silver. The rims are matched to the wheelsets.

The saddle is a KTM Line Youngster Saddle and the seatpost has a diameter of 27.2mm. The saddle is clamped using a KTM Line Kids Clamp QR with a diameter of 31.8mm. The bike is fitted with RPZ 20" KTM55 mudguards in gloss black and features a Beld 3/180 chain guard with 38 teeth. An adjustable KTM Centre stand for 20" bikes and a Standwell SW-CS012SKTM luggage rack round off the specification.
