KTM ULTRA SPORT 29

The "ULTRA SPORT 29" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a high-quality mountain bike that impresses with its robust construction and reliable features. The bike’s frame is made from a 29" 6061 alloy MTB construction (M-1110), providing a solid and durable foundation. The maximum load capacity is 114 kg, and the bike itself weighs 13 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano MT201 / MT200 brakes, combined with a Shimano RT30 CL 180 brake disc at the front and an RT30 CL 160 brake disc at the rear. The bike’s drivetrain is fitted with a Shimano Deore M6100-SGS shadow+, which, together with the Shimano Deore M6100 shifter, enables precise and smooth gear changes. The rider has a total of 12 gears at their disposal.

The Rockshox JUDY SILVER Air RL TK Q fork provides efficient suspension and enhances riding comfort on uneven terrain. The bike is fitted with KTM COMP MTB BF pedals, which provide a secure grip. The crankset consists of a Shimano Deore MT510 with a 34T chainring and a matching bottom bracket (BB). The cassette is a Shimano Deore M6100-12 with a 10–51T gear range, offering a wide variety of gears.

The drivetrain also comprises components from the Shimano Deore M6100 series, ensuring high reliability and durability. The handlebars are KTM COMP Flat Top, complemented by KTM COMP MTB grips and a KTM COMP -7° stem. The headset is a RITCHEY Zero Logic PRESS FIT 1-1/8", which ensures precise steering.

The ULTRA SPORT 29 is fitted with MAXXIS REKON RACE 57-622 tyres in black, both front and rear. The front wheelset consists of a combination of a KTM Line – Shimano HB-MT200 CL 32H 100 QR and KTM 28" Sport 32H; 622x22 rims, as well as black Richman 2.0 INOX spokes. At the rear, a similar setup is used with a Shimano Deore FH-MT401 CL 32H 135 QR hub.

The saddle is a KTM COMP MTB, mounted on a KTM COMP 27.2 seatpost, which provides extra comfort on longer rides. The “ULTRA SPORT 29” model is available at a price of 1149 EUR and offers excellent value for money for ambitious mountain bikers.
