KTM ULTRA FUN 29

The "ULTRA FUN 29" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a robust and versatile mountain bike available for 999 EUR. The frame is constructed from 29" 6061 alloy MTB tubing (M-1110), ensuring stability and durability. The bike’s maximum load capacity is 134 kg, whilst it weighs 14 kg.

Reliable braking performance is provided by the Shimano MT200 brakes with the MT200 2-piston system. The bike is fitted with the SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain, which enables precise and smooth gear changes. The gear lever is also an SRAM SX Eagle Trigger, which is easy to operate.

The Suntour XCM Coil 29" RL fork, with its 100 mm travel, offers good damping and control on uneven terrain. The pedals are KTM Comp MTB BF, which provide a secure grip. The bottom bracket is a SRAM POWER SPLINE 113/73, combined with a SRAM SX Eagle 34T crankset and a SRAM PG-1210 EAGLE cassette (11-50), ensuring efficient power transfer. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM NX Eagle.

The handlebars are KTM Comp Rizer 12, fitted with KTM Comp MTB grips, which ensure comfort and control. The stem is a KTM Comp 7°, and the headset is a Ritchey OE Zero Logic 1.1/8", which enables precise steering.

The rims are KTM Line – Shimano HB-TX505 CL 32H 100 QR at the front and FH-TX505-8 CL 32H 135 QR at the rear, combined with KTM 28" Sport 32H rims (622x20) and Pillar 2.0 INOX spokes in silver. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon Race EXO 57-622, which are known for their good grip and durability.

The saddle is a KTM Line Sport, mounted on a KTM Comp 27.2 seatpost, secured by a KTM Line clamp QR – 31.8mm saddle clamp. Overall, the “ULTRA FUN 29” from KTM offers a balanced combination of performance, comfort and reliability, ideal for both beginners and experienced mountain bikers.
