KTM SCARP MASTER

The "SCARP MASTER" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a high-quality mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 4899 EUR, it offers a comprehensive range of features and outstanding technical specifications. The frame is made from Scarp 29" Premium Carbon SLL95mm / M-1926, which gives the bike not only stability but also lightness. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg, making it one of the lighter models on the market.

The SCARP MASTER’s braking system comprises Shimano Deore XT M8100 2-piston brakes and Shimano MT800 CL 160 front brake discs, which ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The gear system is also by Shimano and comprises the Deore XT M8100-12 SGS shadow+ system and the Deore XT M8100-12 shift levers, offering a total of 12 gears. This enables precise and smooth gear changes in a wide variety of conditions.

The front fork is a FOX 32 Float SC 29" Factory with 100mm of travel and a remote control, featuring a 15x110 mm thru-axle and a tapered steerer tube. The rear shock is a FOX Float DPS Factory remote measuring 190x37.5 mm, which ensures optimum damping and ride comfort.

The bike’s crankset consists of a Shimano Deore XT M8120 with a 34T chainring, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 with a range of 10–51 teeth. The drivetrain is also supported by the Shimano M8100-12 system, which ensures efficient power transfer.

The SCARP MASTER’s cockpit features a KTM Team flat handlebar with a width of 720 mm, KTM Team silicone grips and a KTM Team MTB stem with a 7° angle. The headset is a KTM Team drop-in 1.1/8"-1.5", which ensures precise steering manoeuvres.

The tyres are Schwalbe Racing Ray Evo SuperRace TLE 57-622 at the front and Schwalbe Racing Ralph Evo SuperRace TLE 57-622 at the rear, fitted to Mavic Crossmax 29 CL wheelsets. This combination offers excellent grip and stability on a wide variety of terrain. The saddle is a Selle San Marco RND with Manganese rails, fitted to a KTM Team seatpost measuring 30.9/400 mm.
