KTM SCARP GLORIOUS

The “SCARP GLORIOUS” model from KTM, released in 2021, is a high-quality mountain bike characterised by its first-class specifications and robust construction. The price for this model is 3,449 EUR.

The SCARP GLORIOUS’s frame is made from a combination of premium carbon and an aluminium rear swingarm, ensuring an optimal balance between lightness and stability. The frame is 29 inches in size and is designated SLL95mm / M-0916.

For the brakes, KTM relies on the tried-and-tested Shimano Deore XT M8100 system with 2-piston calipers, which deliver reliable braking performance at both the front and rear. The front brake disc is a Shimano MT800 CL 160 / 160 Freeza, which ensures efficient heat management and consistent braking performance.

The SCARP GLORIOUS’s drivetrain is also from the Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 series, fitted with an SGS shadow+ rear derailleur. The shift levers are Shimano Deore XT M8100-12, enabling precise and rapid gear changes. The drivetrain is complemented by a Shimano Deore M6100-12 cassette with a gear ratio of 10–51.

The RockShox SID SL Ultimate 29" fork, with 100mm of travel and a remote control, ensures a smooth ride over uneven terrain. The RockShox SID Luxe Select+ rear shock, measuring 190x37.5 mm and featuring a remote control, perfectly complements the suspension setup.

The crankset consists of a Shimano Deore XT M8120 with a 32-tooth chainring. For the handlebar assembly, a KTM Team flat handlebar with a width of 720 mm and KTM Team silicone grips have been chosen. The stem is a KTM Team MTB with a 7° angle.

The headset is a KTM Team drop-in measuring 1.1/8"-1.5". The tyres are Maxxis Rekon 3C-MaxxTerra/EXO/TR 57-622 at the front and Maxxis Rekon Race EXO/TR 57-622 at the rear, fitted to a robust wheelset. The wheels consist of KTM Line rims, combined with Shimano Deore XT hubs and Ryde Rival26 rims, laced with DT Competition 2.0 black spokes.

The saddle is a model developed specifically for women, the Selle Italia X3 XP Lady, fitted to a KTM Team seatpost measuring 30.9/400 mm.
