KTM SCARP ELITE

The "SCARP ELITE" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-quality mountain bike designed for demanding riders. It is priced at 3,499 EUR and offers a wide range of technical features designed for performance and reliability. The bike’s frame consists of a combination of premium carbon and an aluminium alloy for the rear section, ensuring an optimal balance between lightness and stability. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 13 kg.

The brakes are fitted with the Shimano M4100 / MT410 2-piston system, which ensures reliable braking power. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 SGS shadow+, which is renowned for precise and rapid gear changes. This is complemented by the Shimano Deore M6100-12 shift lever. The SCARP ELITE’s fork is the FOX 32 Float 29" Rhythm with 100 mm of travel and a remote control function, allowing for quick adjustment to different terrain. The rear shock is the FOX Float DPS PerformanceElite remote 190x37.5, which provides additional control and comfort.

The bike does not come with a standard pedal set, giving the rider the option to choose according to their own preferences. The bottom bracket is the Shimano MT500 press-fit MTB, whilst the crankset is the Shimano Deore M6120 with a 32T chainring. The cassette is the Shimano Deore M6100-12 with a 10-51 tooth range, offering a wide gear ratio range. The drivetrain is also provided by the Shimano M6100-12 system.

The handlebars are KTM Team Flat 2X with a width of 720mm, whilst the grips are made from KTM Team silicone, ensuring a good grip and comfort. The stem is a KTM Team MTB with a 7° angle. The headset is the KTM Team drop/in 1.1/8"-1.5". The rims are identical at the front and rear: KTM Line – Shimano MT410B CL 32H 110-15TA / Ryde Rival26 32H 622x26C / DT Champion 2.0 black. The tyres are Maxxis Rekon Race EXO/TR 57-622, fitted to both the front and rear, providing good traction.

The saddle is the Selle San Marco RND with Manganese Rails, ensuring comfort even on longer rides. The seatpost is a KTM Team 30.9/400, and the seat clamp is the KTM Team Light CL-FJ21 – 34.9 mm.
