KTM SCARP ELITE

The 2021 "SCARP ELITE" model from KTM is a high-quality mountain bike designed for discerning riders. Priced at 2749 EUR, this bike offers a balanced combination of performance and quality.

The SCARP ELITE’s frame is made from a premium carbon alloy and features a rear suspension with 95 mm of travel. This design ensures an optimal balance between weight and stability, making it ideal for a variety of terrains.

The bike is fitted with Shimano M4100 / MT410 2-piston brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano RT54 CL brake discs (180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear), ensure reliable braking performance. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 SGS shadow+ system, controlled by the Shimano Deore M6100-12 shift lever. This gear system offers precise and rapid gear changes, which is a major advantage on challenging terrain.

The bike’s suspension consists of a FOX 32 Float 29" Rhythm fork with 100 mm of travel and a FOX Float DPS PerformanceElite rear shock measuring 190x37.5 mm, both featuring remote control. These components provide excellent damping and control to effectively absorb bumps in the terrain.

The crankset consists of the Shimano Deore M6120 with a 32T chainring, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore M6100-12 with a 10–51-tooth range. The drivetrain is also supported by the Shimano Deore M6100-12 system, which ensures efficient power transfer.

The handlebars are KTM Team flat 2X with a width of 720 mm, complemented by KTM Team silicone grips and a KTM Team MTB stem with a 7° angle. The headset is a KTM Team drop/in with dimensions of 1.1/8"-1.5". These components provide a comfortable and ergonomic riding position.

For the tyres, Maxxis Rekon 3C-MaxxTerra/EXO/TR tyres have been chosen for the front and Maxxis Rekon Race EXO/TR tyres for the rear, both in size 57-622. These tyres offer excellent grip and durability. The wheelset consists of KTM Line – Shimano MT410B CL hubs at the front and rear, Ryde Rival26 rims and DT Champion 2.0 black spokes.

The saddle is an Ergon SM10, mounted on a KTM Team seatpost measuring 30.9/400. This combination ensures a high level of comfort even on longer rides.
