KTM SCARP 294

The "SCARP 294" model from KTM, released in 2021, offers an impressive combination of high-quality components and well-thought-out design at a price of 1949 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from Scarp 29" Alloy 6061 triple-butted aluminium and features suspension with 90 mm of travel. This ensures a stable and comfortable ride, even on challenging trails.

The SCARP 294’s braking system comprises Shimano MT201 / MT200 2-piston brakes, which, in combination with a Shimano RT54 CL brake disc (180 mm at the front, 160 mm at the rear), ensure reliable braking performance and safety. The drivetrain is fitted with the SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed system, which enables precise and rapid gear changes. This is complemented by the SRAM SX Eagle Trigger shifter.

Front suspension is provided by the RockShox Recon Silver RL fork with 100 mm of travel and a remote control, whilst the RockShox Monarch RL shock (165x38) provides effective rear damping. The crankset consists of a SRAM SX Eagle DUB with a 34T chainring, and the cassette is a SRAM SX Eagle PG-1210 with a gear ratio of 11-50.

The SCARP 294’s handlebars are KTM Comp flat 2X with a width of 720 mm, complemented by KTM Comp Lock grips, which ensure a secure grip. The stem is a KTM Comp with a 7° angle. The headset is a KTM Team drop/in measuring 1.1/8"-1.5".

The bike is fitted with Schwalbe Rapid Rob K-Guard tyres (57-622), mounted on a wheelset consisting of KTM Line – Shimano MT400B CL hubs and Ryde Rival26 rims. The spokes are DT Champion 2.0 in black. The KTM Line Sport saddle, combined with a KTM Comp seatpost (30.9/400), provides additional comfort.
