KTM PROWLER MASTER

The 2023 KTM PROWLER MASTER is a high-quality mountain bike which, at a price of 5199 EUR, is positioned in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is made from Prowler 29" Performance Carbon SLL-LT and offers 150 mm of suspension travel. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 14 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano Deore M6100 / M6120 4-piston brakes, which ensure reliable deceleration and control. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 SGS shadow+, which, together with the Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 shifter, ensures precise gear changes. At the front is a FOX 36 Float 29" Rhythm fork with 160 mm of travel, whilst at the rear a FOX Float X PerformanceElite shock, measuring 230x65, ensures optimum damping.

The bottom bracket consists of a Shimano MT800 press-fit MTB system, and the crankset is a Shimano Deore XT M8120 with 30 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Deore M6100-12 with a range of 10–51 teeth, which allows for a wide range of gear ratios. The drivetrain is completed by the Shimano M6100-12 system.

The handlebars are a KTM Team Trail35 Rizer25 with a width of 800 mm, and the grips are ESI Chunky silicone, which provide a good grip. The stem is a KTM TEAM II Trail35, and the headset is a KTM Team drop/in 1.1/8"-1.5".

The rims are DT Swiss M1900 29 CL, with the front measuring 110/15TA 622x30TC and the rear 148/12TA 622x30TC. The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO/TR, sized 62-622, which provide excellent grip and stability.

The saddle is a Selle San Marco Ground Short Open Fit Narrow, mounted on a KTM COMP II dropper seatpost, which is internally routed. The saddle is clamped using a KTM Team Light CL-FJ21 with a diameter of 34.9 mm.
