KTM PROWLER EXONIC

The "PROWLER EXONIC" model from KTM, released in 2022, is a high-quality mountain bike that stands out for its excellent specifications and the use of state-of-the-art materials. The bike’s frame is made from Performance Carbon and offers 150 mm of suspension travel, ensuring high stability and comfort on challenging trails. The maximum load capacity is 114 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 13 kg, representing an excellent stability-to-weight ratio.

The braking system features the tried-and-tested Shimano XTR M9100 / M9120 4-piston calipers, which, in combination with the Shimano MT900 CL 180 / 180 Freeza front brake discs, ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The gear system is also from Shimano – specifically, the XTR M9100-12 SGS shadow+ system – which, together with the Shimano XTR M9100-12 shift lever, ensures precise and rapid gear changes. The PROWLER EXONIC’s fork is a FOX 36 Float 29" Factory with 160 mm of travel and GRIP2 damping, which ensures excellent riding stability. The rear shock is a FOX Float X Factory 230x65, which offers additional comfort and control. The crankset consists of a Shimano XTR M9120 with 32 teeth, whilst the cassette is a Shimano XTR M9101-12 with a 10-51 tooth range.

The handlebars are KTM Prime Trail35 Carbon Rizer with a width of 800 mm, which, together with the Ergon GA20 grips, ensure comfortable and ergonomic handling. The stem is a KTM Team Trail35, and the headset is a KTM Team drop/in 1.1/8"-1.5". The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHR II EXO/TR, size 62-622, fitted to both the front and rear, mounted on Mavic Crossmax Carbon XLR 29 CL wheelsets.

The saddle is a Selle San Marco GND Open Fit Supercomfort with Manganese Rails, which provides extra comfort on long rides. The seatpost is a FOX Transfer Factory internal, which allows for easy adjustment of the saddle height.

The price of the PROWLER EXONIC is 7,999 EUR, which is justified given the high-quality components and advanced design. This model is aimed at ambitious mountain bikers who value both performance and quality.
