KTM PROWLER 1964

The 2023 KTM PROWLER 1964 is a versatile mountain bike designed for challenging trails and descents. Priced at 3199 EUR, it offers high-quality features and impresses with its robust components. The bike’s frame is constructed from a Prowler 29" Alloy 6061 triple-butted SLL-LT 150mm design, which ensures stability and durability. The maximum load capacity is 109 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 16 kg.

The PROWLER 1964’s brakes consist of Shimano M4100 components with MT420 4-piston systems, which ensure reliable and powerful braking performance. The drivetrain is powered by the SRAM SX Eagle 12-speed system, which, in combination with the SRAM SX Eagle Trigger shifter, enables precise and rapid gear changes. The RockShox 35 Silver TK 29" fork with 160mm travel and the FOX Float X Performance shock (230x65) provide excellent suspension and damping, which is particularly advantageous on uneven terrain.

The bike is fitted with a SRAM DUB press-fit MTB 92 bottom bracket and a SRAM SX Eagle DUB 30T crankset. The cassette consists of an SRAM SX Eagle PG-1210 with an 11–50 tooth range, offering a wide selection of gears. The drivetrain is completed by the SRAM NX Eagle 12s system.

The PROWLER 1964’s handlebars are a KTM Team Trail35 rizer25 with a width of 800mm, which, together with the ESI Chunky silicone grips and the KTM TEAM II Trail35 stem, ensures comfortable and controlled handling. The headset is a KTM Team drop/in 1.1/8"-1.5".

The rims are identical at the front and rear and consist of KTM Line – Shimano MT410B CL 32H (front) and Shimano MT400B CL 32H (rear) hubs, combined with Ambrosio E30 Trail 32H 622x30TC rims and DT Champion 2.0 black spokes. The tyres are Conti Trail King 60-622 ShieldWall models, which provide excellent grip and traction.

The bike’s saddle is a Selle San Marco GND, fitted to a KTM COMP II internal dropper seatpost, which allows for easy adjustment of the saddle height. The saddle is secured using a KTM Team Light CL-FJ21 – 34.9mm clamp.
