KTM MACINA RACE 592

The "MACINA RACE 592" model from KTM, released in 2023, is a high-performance and well-equipped e-mountain bike, available for 3199 EUR. The bike features a robust frame made from Macina MTB 29" Alloy 6061 and is fitted with a Bosch Gen.4 motor delivering 85 Nm of torque, enabling a top speed of 25 km/h. The bike’s battery has a capacity of 500 Wh and is integrated horizontally as a Bosch PowerTUBE, ensuring a sleek appearance and good weight distribution.

The bike’s maximum load capacity is 142 kg, whilst it weighs 22 kg. The brakes are Shimano MT200 / MT200 2-piston brakes, which ensure reliable and safe deceleration. Gear changes are handled by a Shimano Alivio M3100-9 SGS Shadow, which, in combination with the Shimano Alivio M3100-9 shifter, enables precise and responsive gear changes. The Suntour XCM 32 coil 29" NLO fork, with 100 mm of travel, ensures comfortable suspension and control on uneven terrain.

The bike is fitted with VP-195E aluminium MTB pedals. The crankset is a KTM E-COMP ISIS with a length of 170 mm and a Q-factor of 16. The cassette consists of a Shimano HG201-9 with a range of 11–36 teeth and is supported by the Shimano E6070-9 e-bike drive. The handlebars are KTM COMP II flat 2X, 720 mm wide, complemented by KTM Comp Lock grips and a KTM COMP II stem with a 7° angle.

The headset is a KTM Team drop/in with a size of 1.1/8"-1.5". The rims are identical at the front and rear: at the front, a combination of a Shimano MT400 CL hub, a Ryde Rival30 rim and DT Champion 2.0 spokes; at the rear, a Shimano MT400B CL hub, a Ryde Rival30 rim and DT Alpine II 2.34 spokes. Both tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam K-Guard in size 57-622, which provide good grip and puncture protection.

Comfort is provided by the KTM Line Sport saddle mounted on a KTM COMP II seatpost measuring 30.9/400 mm, held in place by a KTM Line JD-SC99 seatpost clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm. The display is a Bosch PURION LCD display, which clearly shows all the key information. The battery is charged using the Bosch COMPACT charger with a charging current of 2A.
