KTM MACINA PROWLER PRO

The "MACINA PROWLER PRO" model from KTM, released in 2022, offers a combination of advanced technology and high-quality features at a price of 5,799 EUR. The frame of this e-mountain bike is made from Macina Prowler Dimmix Perf. Carbon SLL-LTE with 170 mm of travel and is designed for the Bosch Gen.4 motor series. The maximum permissible weight is 144 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 25 kg.

The MACINA PROWLER PRO’s braking system comprises Shimano M4100 / MT420 4-piston brakes, complemented by a Shimano RT64 CL 203 mm front brake disc and an EM600 CL 180 mm rear brake disc with a magnet. Gear changes are handled by the Shimano Deore XT M8100-12 SGS shadow+ system, controlled by the Shimano Deore M6100-12 shift lever.

The suspension consists of a RockShox Domain RC 29" fork with 180 mm of travel and a RockShox SuperDeluxe Coil Select+ shock measuring 250x75. The pedals are flat aluminium MTB pedals, model VPE-527. The crankset is a KTM TRAIL ISIS with a length of 160 mm and a Q-factor of 16 mm, whilst the cassette is a Shimano Deore M6100-12 with a range of 10–51.

The handlebars are KTM Team Trail35 Rizer25, 800 mm wide, fitted with Ergon GA20 grips. The stem is also a KTM Team Trail35 Kiox, and the headset is a KTM Team MTB with a 1.1/8"-1.5" angle-limiting system. The front tyre is a Maxxis Minion DHF 3C-MaxxTerra/EXO/TR tyre in size 63-622, and at the rear, a Maxxis Minion DHR II 3C-MaxxTerra/EXO/TR tyre in size 70-584.

The front wheelset comprises a KTM Line – Shimano MT410B CL 32H 110-15TA hub and Ambrosio E30 Trail 32H 622x30TC rims, laced with DT Champion 2.0 black spokes. At the rear, it features a KTM Line – Shimano MT410B CL 32H 148-12TA hub and Ambrosio E35 Trail 32H 584x30TC rims, connected by DT Alpine II 2.34 black spokes. The saddle is a Selle San Marco GND Supercomfort, fitted to a KTM Comp internal dropper seatpost.

The e-bike is powered by a Bosch PERFORMANCE CX Gen.4 motor with a top speed of up to 25 km/h and a torque of 85 Nm. The battery is a Bosch PowerTUBE with a capacity of 625 Wh, integrated horizontally into the frame. The display is a Bosch KIOX TFT display with remote control, and the charger is a Bosch STANDARD charger with an output of 4A.
