GIANT Talon 0

The "Talon 0" model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike that stands out for its robust components and well-thought-out design. The frame is an AluxX frame with a maximum tyre clearance of 2.4 inches and a maximum chainring size of 32T. This provides a stable and reliable foundation for a variety of terrain conditions.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 brakes with 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, controlled by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The drivetrain is a Shimano Deore M6100 Shadow+ system with 12 speeds, operated precisely and smoothly via the Shimano Deore M6100 shift lever. The hubs are Shimano MT-200 at the front and MT401 at the rear, connected by 14G stainless steel spokes. The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on a GIANT Sport seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The bike is compatible with the GIANT KSA18 kickstand and the GIANT Rack-It Metro (Lite) luggage rack.

The Talon 0’s geometry comprises a reach of 439 mm, a stack of 630 mm, a seat tube length of 490 mm and a top tube length of 620 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees, the seat tube angle is 74 degrees, and the head tube length is 125 mm. The chainstay length is 455 mm, the bottom bracket drop is 55 mm, the fork offset is 51 mm and the standover height is 805 mm. The crank length is 175 mm, and the wheelbase measures 1172 mm in total.
