GIANT STP 26

The STP 26 model from GIANT, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike that stands out for its high-quality components and robust construction. Priced at 1,149 EUR, it offers good value for money for ambitious riders.

The STP 26’s frame is an AluxX frame with a 141 mm QR mount, ensuring a stable and durable construction. The brakes are Tektro HD-M275 disc brakes with 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear, which, in combination with the Tektro HD-M275 brake levers, ensure reliable braking performance.

The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore M5120 Shadow+, 10-speed, controlled by the Shimano Deore M4100 shift lever. This combination enables precise and fast gear changes. The RockShox Recon Silver RL fork, featuring a handlebar lockout, 120 mm of travel and a 15x100 mm axle, provides excellent suspension and control on rough terrain.

The handlebars are a GIANT Contact Sport model, which, together with the GIANT Sole-O grips, ensure comfortable handling. The stem is made of forged alloy and has a 0° angle. The rims are GIANT Disc models, which, together with the Maxxis Ardent tyres in size 26x2.25 with 60 TPI, provide excellent grip and durability. The tyres are supplied with inner tubes as standard.

The hubs are also GIANT Disc models and the spokes are made of stainless steel, which contributes to the bike’s overall stability. The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on an alloy seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The bike is also compatible with the GIANT KSA18 kickstand, offering additional flexibility in use.
