GIANT Revolt E+

The “Revolt E+” model from GIANT, launched in 2023, is a versatile e-bike that stands out for its high-quality components and well-thought-out features. Priced at 5399 EUR, it offers a balanced blend of performance, comfort and technology.

The Revolt E+ frame is made from AluxX SL material and features a 12x142 mm rear axle. The fork is a GIANT Revolt E+ Advanced Carbon with a 12x100 mm axle, ensuring high stability and low weight. Braking performance is provided by Shimano GRX BR-RX810 disc brakes with 160 mm rotors, controlled by Shimano ST-RX815 brake levers, which enable precise and reliable braking.

The drivetrain is fitted with Shimano GRX Di2 RD-RX817 components, offering an 11-speed range. The shift levers are also Shimano GRX Di2 RX815, ensuring smooth and rapid gear changes. The crankset consists of a Shimano FC-EM600 and a Shimano SM-CRE80-R chainring with 47 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M5100 with an 11–42T range, and the drivetrain is complemented by a KMC e.11 Turbo chain with EcoProteq coating.

The Revolt E+’s cockpit features a GIANT Contact XR D-Fuse handlebar, 440 mm wide, and GIANT Connect handlebar tape for added comfort. The stem is a GIANT Contact with a length of 80 mm. The rims are GIANT eX 2, tubeless-ready, with an internal width of 21 mm, and the tyres are Maxxis Receptor 700x40c, also tubeless-ready, but supplied with inner tubes as standard. The hubs are GIANT Performance Tracker Road, and the spokes are a combination of Sapim Race and Sapim E-Lite.

The Revolt E+ is fitted with a GIANT Approach saddle, mounted on a GIANT D-Fuse SL Carbon seatpost. The bike is compatible with a KSA 18 side stand and a GIANT Rack-It Metro luggage rack. A tubeless kit is also included, comprising fluid, valves, tyre levers, a valve core remover and instructions.

The Revolt E+ is powered by a GIANT SyncDrive EP8 motor with 85Nm of torque, powered by Shimano. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak Smart Compact 500 with a capacity of 500 Wh and is compatible with the EP Plus RangeExtender. The display is SG & ANT+ compatible, and the charger is a GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger Compact with 4A.

The Revolt E+’s geometry offers a balanced riding position with a reach of 391 mm, a stack of 602 mm, a seat tube length of 490 mm and a top tube length of 575 mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees, the seat tube angle 73 degrees, the head tube length 165 mm and the chainstay length 425 mm. The bottom bracket drop is 80 mm, the fork offset is 50 mm and the standover height is 774 mm. The crank length is 173 mm, and the wheelbase measures 1031 mm in total.
