GIANT Revolt 0

GIANT’s “Revolt 0” model from 2023 is a versatile gravel bike designed for challenging rides on a variety of surfaces. Priced at 1,899 EUR, it offers high-quality components and well-thought-out technical features.

The Revolt 0’s frame is made from AluxX material and features a Flip Chip dropout, which allows the tyre clearance to be adjusted. In the short setting, the maximum tyre clearance is 45 mm, whilst in the long setting it extends to 53 mm. The fork is a GIANT Revolt Advanced full-carbon fork with OverDrive1 and a 12x100 mm thru-axle, which provides additional stiffness and precision.

The braking system consists of Shimano BR-RX400 HRD disc brakes with a 160 mm diameter, controlled by Shimano GRX RX-600 HRD brake levers. The gear system uses a combination of Shimano GRX RX-810 (11-speed) and Shimano GRX RX-600 (2-speed) shifters. The front derailleur is also a Shimano GRX RX-810 model.

In terms of the drivetrain, the bike is fitted with an FSA Omega Modular AGX+ crankset, which features 48/32T chainrings. The bottom bracket is an FSA Mega EXO, and the cassette is a Shimano 105 with a 11-34T range. The chain is a KMC X-11.

The Revolt 0’s handlebars are GIANT Contact XR D-Fuse with a width of 460 mm, whilst the stem is a GIANT Contact model with a length of 110 mm. The grips are made from GIANT Cork, which provides additional comfort.

The wheelsets consist of GIANT S-X2 Disc rims, which are tubeless-ready, and are fitted with GIANT CrossCut AT1 tyres in size 700x38c. These tyres are also tubeless-ready and have a TPI of 60. The hubs and spokes are also GIANT S-X2 Disc models.

The saddle is a GIANT Approach, mounted on a GIANT D-Fuse seatpost, which is compatible with 30.9 mm seatposts. The bike is also compatible with the GIANT Rack-It Metro (Lite) luggage rack.

In addition to the standard equipment, the Revolt 0 comes with a tubeless kit comprising sealant, valves, tyre levers, a valve core tool and an instruction manual.

The frame geometry offers a balanced riding position: the reach is 407 mm and the stack is 630 mm. The seat tube is 530 mm long, whilst the top tube measures 600 mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees. The head tube length is 195 mm, the chainstay length is 430 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 80 mm. The fork offset is 50 mm and the clearance height is 801 mm. The crank length is 175 mm and the overall wheelbase is 1061 mm.
