GIANT Fathom E+ Pro 2

The "Fathom E+ Pro 2" model from the GIANT brand from 2023 is a versatile e-mountainbike that is equipped with a variety of technical features and high-quality components. The frame is made from robust AluxX SL material and has an integrated speed sensor and compatibility with the EnergyPak Plus system. The price for this model is EUR 3799.

The braking system consists of Tektro HD-M275 disc brakes with 180mm brake discs, which ensure reliable braking performance. Shifting is provided by the Shimano Deore LinkGlide M5130 system, which includes a 10-speed gear system. The shift levers are also from the Shimano Deore LinkGlide series.

Suspension is provided by an SR Suntour XCR 34 Air LO-R fork with 130mm travel and Boost 15x110mm axles. The pedals are made of aluminium and provide a stable platform. The tyres are Maxxis Minion DHF 29 x 2.5" foldable, tubeless, EXO at the front and Maxxis Aggressor 29 x 2.5" foldable, tubeless, EXO at the rear, whereby the bike is supplied with tubes as standard. The hubs are Shimano MT410 models and the spokes are made of stainless steel.

The saddle is a GIANT Sport model, mounted on a GIANT seatpost with a diameter of 30.9mm. The bike is compatible with a KSA 18 kickstand and a GIANT Rack-It Metro [Lite] pannier rack.

The Fathom E+ Pro 2 is powered by a GIANT SyncDrive Pro motor with an output of 80 Nm, developed in collaboration with Yamaha. The battery is a GIANT EnergyPak Smart Integrated 625 with a capacity of 625 Wh and is compatible with the EP Plus RangeExtender. The display is a RideControl Dash 2in1 model, and the charger is a GIANT EnergyPak SmartCharger Compact with an output of 4A.

The geometry of the bike comprises a reach of 395mm, a stack of 586mm, a seat tube length of 490mm and a top tube length of 575mm. The head tube angle is 72 degrees, the seat tube angle is 73 degrees, the head tube length is 180mm, the chainstay length is 425mm and the bottom bracket drop is 70mm. The fork pre-bend is 50mm and the standover height is 741mm. The crank length is 175mm and the wheelbase measures 1035mm.
