Cube Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race 625 black´n´grey

The “Stereo Hybrid 140 HPC Race 625 black’n’grey” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a high-performance e-mountain bike priced at 4049 EUR, placing it in the upper mid-range. The bike’s frame is constructed using C:62 Monocoque Advanced Twin Mold Technology with a 6061 T6 aluminium rear triangle. It features the Efficient Trail Control and FSP 4-Link systems, as well as Agile Trail Geometry. The frame is designed for Boost 148 and has a fully integrated battery. The bike’s total weight is 24 kg.

Braking is provided by the Magura MT Thirty system, which is fitted with 4-piston hydraulic disc brakes at both the front and rear, along with 203 mm brake rotors. The drivetrain consists of a SRAM NX Eagle™ 12-speed system, controlled by a SRAM SX Eagle™ trigger shifter with single-click function. The RockShox 35 Silver fork offers 140 mm of travel and is specifically approved for eMTBs. The crankset consists of an ACID E-Crank with a length of 165 mm (27.5: 36T // 29: 34T), and the cassette is a SRAM PG-1210 Eagle™ with a gear range of 11–50T. The handlebars are Newmen Evolution SL 318.25 with a width of 760 mm, complemented by CUBE Race Grip grips with a diameter of 31 mm and a 1-clamp attachment. The stem is a CUBE Performance Stem E-MTB with a 31.8 mm clamp.

The headset varies depending on frame size: for the 27.5-inch model, it is the ACROS AZX-1032 BlockLock 120° system; for the 29-inch model, it is the ACROS AZX-1030 system, both featuring zero-stack configurations. The rims are CUBE EX30 models with 32 spokes, disc brake-compatible and tubeless-ready. The tyres are Schwalbe Nobby Nic PerfL in size 2.60. The front hub is a Shimano HB-MT400-B with a 15 mm axle and Boost, and the rear hub is a Shimano FH-MT400-B with a 12 mm axle and Boost, both featuring CentreLock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec model, mounted on a CUBE Dropper Post seatpost with handlebar lever and internal cable routing, available in various travel lengths (XS, S: 100 mm; M: 120 mm; L, XL: 130 mm). The saddle clamp is a CUBE Screwlock Semi-Integrated with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

The drive system consists of the Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 motor with an output of 250 watts and a maximum torque of 85 Nm. The battery is a Bosch PowerTube 625 and the display is a Bosch Purion model. This setup offers an excellent combination of performance, range and user-friendliness for demanding trail adventures.
