The “Reaction Hybrid Pro 500 29 black’n’grey” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a versatile e-mountain bike available for 2549 EUR. It features a robust and lightweight Superlite aluminium frame with Gravity Casting and Agile Ride Geometry, offering integrated cable routing and a fully integrated battery. The frame is also fitted with mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack. Weighing 23 kg, the bike is well-balanced and offers a stable ride.

Reliable braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at the front and rear. The rims are CUBE EX30, 32H, disc, tubeless-ready, fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam Active tyres in size 2.60. The front hub is a Shimano HB-MT400-B with 15 mm Boost and Centre Lock, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano FH-TX505 with quick-release and Centre Lock.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm, secured by a CUBE Varioclose seatpost clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

At the heart of the e-bike is the Bosch Performance CX Generation 4 motor (85 Nm), which delivers 250 watts of power. The motor is powered by a Bosch PowerTube 500 battery, whilst the Bosch Purion display enables simple and intuitive control.
