The “Reaction Hybrid Performance 400 iridium’n’green” model from Cube, released in 2021, is an e-bike that stands out for its sophisticated technology and high-quality features. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and, thanks to Gravity Casting technology and Agile Ride Geometry, offers a stable yet agile ride. The frame also features a tapered head tube, internal cable routing and a fully integrated battery. Furthermore, it includes mounting points for a kickstand, mudguards and a luggage rack. Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200), fitted with 180 mm rotors at both the front and rear. The head tube is fitted with an ACROS headset, which varies depending on the frame size.

The bike’s rims are CUBE EX23 models with 32 spokes and tubeless-ready features. The Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres, featuring K-Guard technology and a width of 2.35 inches, offer good grip on a variety of surfaces. The hubs are from Shimano (HB-TX505 at the front and FH-TX505 at the rear) and are fitted with Centre Lock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 30.9 mm. The saddle is clamped in place using a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 34.9 mm.

At the heart of the drive system is the Bosch Performance Generation 3 motor, delivering 65 Nm of torque and 250 watts of power. The motor is powered by a Bosch PowerTube 400 battery, which is seamlessly integrated into the frame. The Bosch Purion display allows for easy control and monitoring of the e-bike system.
