Cube Kathmandu EXC darkgrey´n´grey

The "Kathmandu EXC darkgrey’n’grey" model from Cube, released in 2022, is a high-quality trekking bike available at a price of 1,399 EUR. The frame is made from Superlite aluminium and features Trekking Comfort geometry with IC 3.0 and double-butted technology, ensuring an optimal combination of stability and lightness.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200/UR300) with 160 mm discs at the front and rear. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano XT RD-T8000 10-speed rear derailleur, combined with Shimano Deore SL-M6000 Rapidfire-Plus shifters and a Shimano Deore FD-T6000 front derailleur. This enables precise and reliable gear changes.

The SR Suntour NCX D LO Air suspension fork, with 63 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures comfort on uneven terrain. Lighting is provided by a CUBE IQ-XS-Friendly N plus front light and an ACID Mudguard Rear Light PRO-D rear light, which is powered by 6V AC, ensuring good visibility and safety on the road.

The front hub is a Shimano DH-UR700-3D hub dynamo with quick-release and CentreLock mount; the rear hub is a Shimano FH-MT400 with a 12 mm axle and CentreLock mount.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Sequence Comfort model, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is secured using a CUBE Screwlock clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

Other features include ACID 56 mudguards, an ACID Pro Flat Mount kickstand and a CUBE Integrated Carrier 3.0 luggage rack, which is compatible with the ACID RILink adapter. These components make the Kathmandu EXC darkgrey’n’grey a versatile and reliable companion for long tours and everyday use.
