Cube Attention grey´n´red

The “Attention grey’n’red” model from Cube, released in 2021, is a versatile mountain bike available for 849 EUR. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite and is manufactured using Advanced Mechanical Forming (AMF) technology. This ensures high stability and durability whilst weighing just 13 kg. The bike features internal cable routing, which not only gives it a tidy appearance but also protects the cables from external damage. Furthermore, the frame is designed to allow for easy fitting of a kickstand.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes – specifically the BR-MT200 model – with a 180 mm front rotor and a 160 mm rear rotor. The gear system is also by Shimano and includes the Deore RD-M4120-SGS front derailleur with 10 speeds. The shift levers are Shimano Deore SL-M4100 Rapidfire-Plus, which allow for precise and quick gear changes. The front derailleur is the Shimano Deore FD-M6025-H model with a downswing design and a 31.8 mm clamp.

The RockShox Judy Silver TK AIR fork, with 100 mm of travel and PopLoc function, ensures a comfortable ride even on uneven terrain. The pedals are CUBE PP MTB, which offer good traction. The crankset is a Shimano Deore FC-M4100 with 36X26T and a length of 175 mm (170 mm for sizes XS and S). The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with an 11-42T range, whilst the chain is a KMC X10.

The cockpit comprises the CUBE Rise Trail Bar handlebars, 680 mm wide, and CUBE Performance grips for optimum grip. The stem is the CUBE Performance Stem SL with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH863 model.

The rims are CUBE ZX20 models with 32 spokes, designed for disc brakes. The tyres are Schwalbe Smart Sam Active, 2.25 inches wide, which offer good handling on both tarmac and off-road terrain. The front hub is a Shimano HB-TX505 and the rear a Shimano FH-TX505, both fitted with quick-release skewers and Centre Lock brake disc mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped using the CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
