Cube Aim Race olive´n´black

The "Aim Race olive'n'black" model from Cube, released in 2023, is a versatile mountain bike which, at a price of 679 EUR, represents an attractive option in the entry-level segment. The frame is made from Aluminium Lite, which, thanks to AMF (Advanced Mechanical Forming) and double-butted technology, ensures high stability whilst keeping the weight low. The bike features internal cable routing and a tapered head tube for precise handling. The flat-mount brakes, the integrated mount for a side stand and the FM kickstand mount round off the well-designed frame construction. The maximum load capacity is 140 kg, whilst the bike’s kerb weight is 14 kg.

The Aim Race is fitted with Clarks Clout 1 hydraulic disc brakes, featuring a 180 mm front rotor and a 160 mm rear rotor, ensuring reliable braking power in all conditions. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano RD-M3020 8-speed rear derailleur, combined with Shimano SL-M315 Rapidfire-Plus shift levers and a Shimano FD-M315 front derailleur. The crankset is a Shimano FC-M315 with 36x22T chainrings and a 170 mm length, whilst the cassette is a Shimano CS-HG31 with an 11-34T range. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC Z8.3 chain.

The SR Suntour XCT Disc fork, with 100 mm of travel and a lockout function, ensures comfort and control on uneven terrain. The pedals are ACID PP MTB. The bottom bracket is a Thun Paso-ML with a 73 mm BSA thread.

The handlebars are CUBE Rise Trail Bars, 680 mm wide, complemented by ACID React grips and a CUBE Performance Stem Race with a diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated CUBE FPH868.

The wheelsets consist of CUBE ZX20 rims with 32 spokes and disc brake mounts, fitted with Schwalbe Smart Sam tyres in size 2.25. The hubs are a Shimano HB-TX505 at the front and a Shimano FH-TX505 at the rear, both with quick-release mechanisms and Centre Lock mounts.

The saddle is a Natural Fit Venec Lite, mounted on a CUBE Performance seatpost with a diameter of 27.2 mm. The saddle is clamped using a CUBE Varioclose clamp with a diameter of 31.8 mm.

The bike is delivered in a box measuring 1530 mm in length, 780 mm in height and 240 mm in width, with the gross weight of the box being 17420 g.
