The Aim EX’s frame is made from Aluminium Lite, manufactured using AMF (Advanced Mechanical Forming). This process ensures increased stiffness and durability of the frame. The frame is also double-butted, meaning that the wall thickness varies to save weight without compromising stability. The internal cable routing contributes to a clean, tidy appearance and protects the cables from dirt and damage. The tapered head tube improves steering precision, whilst the flat-mount brake mount enables a sleek and efficient brake installation. The frame is also fitted with mounts for a side stand (FM Kickstand Mount).

The bike is fitted with Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (Shimano BR-MT200/UR300), which ensure reliable braking performance in a variety of weather conditions. The drivetrain consists of a Shimano Deore RD-M5120-SGS 10-speed rear derailleur and a Shimano Deore SL-M4100 Rapidfire-Plus shifter, which ensure precise and quick gear changes. The hubs are also from Shimano (front: HB-TX505, rear: FH-TX505), both featuring quick-release (QR) mechanisms and Centre Lock brake disc mounts.

The saddle (Natural Fit Venec Lite) and seatpost (CUBE Performance Post), with a diameter of 27.2 mm, ensure a comfortable riding position. The saddle is clamped using a CUBE Varioclose with a diameter of 31.8 mm.
