Bergamont Vitess 7 Lady

The 2022 Bergamont Vitess 7 Lady is a versatile trekking bike designed specifically for women. Priced at 1,199 EUR, it offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort. The frame is made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is designed for 28-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 14 kg.

The Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes and the matching Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers ensure reliable and precise braking performance. The front brake disc has a diameter of 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT10). The drivetrain features the tried-and-tested Shimano Deore XT RD-T8000 Shadow, combined with Shimano Deore SL-T6000 shift levers for a 3x10-speed drivetrain. The front derailleur is also a Shimano Deore FD-T6000.

The bike’s rigid fork is a BGM Trekking rigid alloy fork with an aluminium steerer tube and is designed for disc brakes. Lighting is provided by the B&M Avy N Plus front light with a 40 lux LED and parking light, and the B&M Toplight 2 C Plus rear light with LED and parking light. The pedals are made from aluminium trekking pedals.

The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-ES300 with Octalink, whilst the crankset is a Shimano FC-T521 with 48/36/26 teeth and a chain guard. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG500 with 11–32 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a Shimano CN-HG54 chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser Bars with a 15° back sweep, and the grips are ergonomic BGM Comfort grips in a dual-density design with a clamp-on fit. The stem is a BGM Pro multi-position stem with an angle of 10°/25° and a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a BGM Comp A-Headset, semi-integrated, 1 1/8".

The rims are BGM Pro X15 Disc with 32 holes, and the tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Almotion with Raceguard and a reflective strip, size 50-622. The hubs consist of a Shimano DH-3D37 hub dynamo at the front and a Shimano FH-M4050 hub at the rear, both with Centre Lock and quick-release mechanisms. The spokes are made of black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Syncros Capilano trekking saddle with memory foam, mounted on a BGM Comp seatpost. Mudguards from SKS with stainless steel struts provide protection against splashing water. An Atran kickstand ensures stability, whilst the Racktime/BGM Trekking Pro luggage rack, featuring the Snapit 2.0 system and integrated mudguard mounts, offers additional storage space.
