Bergamont Revox 7

The "Revox 7" model from Bergamont, released in 2022, is a high-quality mountain bike available at a price of 1,099 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is designed for 29-inch wheels, ensuring a robust yet lightweight construction. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 13 kg.

The Revox 7 is fitted with Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, operated by Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers. The brake discs measure 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear (Shimano SM-RT10), ensuring reliable braking performance.

The Shimano Deore system is used for the gear changes. The front derailleur is a Shimano Deore FD-M5100, whilst the rear derailleur is a Shimano Deore RD-M5120 Shadow Plus. The shift levers are Shimano Deore SL-M5100 Rapidfire Plus shifters, which enable 2x11-speed shifting. The crankset consists of a Shimano Deore FC-M5100 with 36/26 teeth, and the cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M5100 with 11–42 teeth. The drivetrain is completed by a KMC X11 chain.

The Revox 7’s fork is a RockShox Judy Silver TK with 100 mm of travel and a remote lockout function, ensuring a comfortable ride over uneven terrain. The pedals are VP-536, and the bottom bracket is a Shimano Hollowtech II BSA.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0 riser bars with a width of 720 mm, complemented by Syncros MTB grips. The stem is also a Syncros 3.0 with an angle of +/-7°. The headset is a Prestine PT1805 A-Headset, which is semi-integrated and designed for a 1 1/8" diameter.

The rims are Alex X25 Disc with a width of 25 mm, and the tyres are Kenda Booster in size 29x2.40". The hubs are Shimano Centrelock Disc with quick-release skewers, and the spokes are made from black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, and the seatpost is a Syncros 3.0. Overall, the Bergamont Revox 7 offers a balanced combination of performance and comfort, ideal for discerning mountain bikers.
