Bergamont Revox 6

The "Revox 6" model from Bergamont, released in 2022, offers solid specifications and good value for money. The price of this bike is 949 EUR. The Revox 6’s frame is made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium and is designed for 29-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 14 kg.

Braking performance is provided by Shimano BR-MT200 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano BL-MT200 brake levers, offer reliable stopping power. The front brake discs have a diameter of 180 mm and the rear ones 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT10).

The Revox 6’s gear system is also from Shimano and is part of the Deore series. The front derailleur is the FD-M4100 model, whilst the RD-M4120 Shadow rear derailleur ensures precise gear changes. The shift levers are the Shimano Deore SL-M5100L and SL-M4100R, which enable a 2x10-speed drivetrain. The bottom bracket is a Shimano Hollowtech II, BSA, and the crankset consists of the Shimano Deore FC-M4100 with 36/26 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano Deore CS-M4100 with 11–42 teeth, and power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain.

The suspension fork is a Suntour XCM RL DS with 100 mm of travel and a remote lockout, allowing it to be adapted to different types of terrain. The pedals are VP-536s.

The handlebars are Syncros 3.0 riser bars with a width of 720 mm, fitted with Syncros MTB grips. The stem is also a Syncros 3.0 with an angle of +/-7°. The headset is a Prestine PT1805 A-Headset, semi-integrated, with a size of 1 1/8".

The bike’s rims are Alex X25 Disc, 25 mm wide, and the tyres are Kenda Booster in size 29x2.40". The hubs are by Shimano and fitted with Centre Lock discs and quick-release skewers. The spokes are made of black stainless steel.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, mounted on a Syncros 3.0 seatpost. Overall, the Bergamont Revox 6 S offers a balanced combination of quality and functionality for the ambitious mountain biker.
