Bergamont Horizon 9 Lady dark olive green/black

The "Horizon 9 Lady dark olive green/black" model from Bergamont, released in 2020, is a high-quality trekking bike available for 1,599 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from an ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tube set and has a 28-inch size. With a total weight of 15 kg, the bike offers a good balance between stability and lightness.

The Horizon 9 Lady’s braking system consists of Shimano Deore hydraulic disc brakes (BR-M6000) with an SM-RT54 rotor, which has a diameter of 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The brake levers (BL-T6000) are also from Shimano Deore and ensure precise braking performance.

The Shimano Deore XT system (RD-T8000), featuring a Shadow design, is used for the gear system. The shift lever (SL-T8000) offers 3x10-speed Rapidfire Plus shifting, whilst the front derailleur is also from the Deore XT series (FD-T8000). In total, the bike has 30 gears, allowing for fine-tuning and adaptation to different riding conditions.

The Horizon 9 Lady is fitted with aluminium trekking pedals and features a Shimano BB-MT800 bottom bracket (BSA). The crankset is also from the Shimano Deore XT series (FC-T8000) and features chainrings with 48/36/26 teeth, as well as a chain guard. The cassette is a Shimano SLX (CS-HG81) with a range of 11–34 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a Shimano CN-HG54 chain.

The handlebars are BGM Pro Riser handlebars with a 15° rise, whilst the grips are from Ergon (GP10). The stem is a BGM Pro model with multi-position adjustment options of 10°/25° and a clamp diameter of 31.8 mm. The headset is a semi-integrated BGM Comp A-Headset (1 1/8").

The rims are BGM Pro X15 Disc models with 32 spokes, made from black stainless steel. The tyres are Schwalbe Marathon Racer with Raceguard and reflective strips, size 40-622. The front hub is a Shutter Precision hub dynamo (SP PL-8) with a Centre Lock disc and quick-release, whilst the rear hub is a Shimano Deore XT model (FH-M8000).

The saddle is an Ergon ST10, mounted on a Post Moderne PM-780E suspension seatpost. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts, an Atran kickstand and a Racktime Stand-It luggage rack with integrated mudguard mounts.
