Bergamont Horizon 6 Amsterdam white

The "Horizon 6 Amsterdam white" model from Bergamont, released in 2021, is a versatile trekking bike available at a price of 849 EUR. The bike’s frame is made from a lightweight AL-6061 tube set and has a 28-inch size. The maximum load capacity is 130 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs 17 kg.

The Horizon 6 Amsterdam white’s braking system consists of Shimano hydraulic disc brakes (BR-MT200), fitted with SM-RT10 rotors measuring 180 mm at the front and 160 mm at the rear. The brake levers are also by Shimano (BL-MT200) and deliver precise and reliable braking performance.

Gear shifting is handled by a Shimano Deore RD-M592 rear derailleur, combined with Shimano SL-M2010 Rapidfire Plus shift levers, which enable a 3x9-speed gearing system. The front derailleur is a Shimano FD-M370, providing a total of 27 gears. The crankset is a Shimano FC-T3010 with chainrings of 48/36/26 teeth and a chain guard. The Horizon 6 Amsterdam white features aluminium trekking pedals, a BGM Comp Riser handlebar with a 33-degree bend and BGM Comfort Ergo Double Density screw-on grips. The stem is a BGM Comp Vario with a clamp diameter of 25.4 mm. The headset is a BGM Comp threaded, semi-integrated model, with a size of 1 1/8 inches.

The rims are BGM Pro X15 Disc with 32 spokes, made from black steel. The tyres are Schwalbe Road Cruiser with Kevlarguard and reflective strips, size 42-622. The hubs consist of a Shimano DH-3D37 Centre Lock Disc quick-release hub with hub dynamo at the front and a Shimano Centre Lock Disc quick-release hub at the rear.

The saddle is an Ergon ST10, mounted on a Post Moderne PM-780E suspension seatpost. The bike is also fitted with SKS mudguards with stainless steel struts, an SKS Chainblade chain guard and an Atran kickstand. The luggage rack is a BGM Trekking Aluminium / Racktime Snapit System with integrated mudguard mounts.

The standover height is 511 mm, the fork installation height is 463 mm and the wheelbase is 1089 mm in total.
