Bergamont Grandurance RD 7

The 2024 Bergamont Grandurance RD 7 is a versatile, high-quality gravel bike available for €2,299. The frame is made from an ultra-light AL-6061 tube set and has a 28-inch size. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs in at 12 kg.

The Grandurance RD 7 is suitable for riders between 163 cm and 174 cm in height. Braking performance is provided by Shimano hydraulic disc brakes at the front and rear – specifically, the Shimano 105 BR-R7070 model. The brake levers are also by Shimano (105, ST-R7020) and the brake discs each have a diameter of 160 mm (Shimano SM-RT64).

The gear system comprises 22 speeds and is based on the Shimano 105 RD-R7000 Shadow System. The shift levers are Shimano 105 ST-R7020 Road STI shift levers, which offer precise and reliable shifting performance. The front derailleur is also a Shimano 105 FD-R7000 model. The bottom bracket is a Shimano BB-RS500 BSA, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano 105 FC-R7000 with 50/34t chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG700 with an 11–34t range, and the drivetrain is powered by a KMC X11 chain.

The fork is made of aluminium and features a flat-mount bracket as well as three mounting eyelets on each side. It has a 12x100 mm axle. Lighting is provided at the front by a Herrmans H-Black MR8 lamp with 180 lumens and a parking light function, whilst a Herrmans H-Trace Mini LED lamp with a parking light is fitted at the rear.

The bike is supplied without pedals and is fitted with Satori X-Race Aero handlebars, which are 420 mm wide and have a 16° flare. The grips are BGM Race Grip-Tape, which are non-slip and shock-absorbing. The stem is a Satori Viper with a -7-degree angle and a length of 80 mm. The headset is an Acros ZS56, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Shining DB-T260 Disc models, fitted with black stainless steel spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Allround, foldable, Tubeless-Easy and fitted with Raceguard (40-622). The front hub is a Shimano DH-UR705 hub dynamo with a CentreLock disc and a 12x100 mm axle, whilst the rear hub is a BGM Allroad CentreLock disc with a 12x142 mm axle.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, mounted on a Syncros seatpost. The bike also features BGM Allroad mudguards (50 mm) and a Racktime / BGM Allroad luggage rack with the SnapIt 2.0 system.

The dimensions of the packed bike are 26 mm wide, 84 mm high and 160 mm long, with a gross weight of 19,500 g.
