Bergamont Grandurance Expert

The "Grandurance Expert" model from Bergamont, released in 2022, is a versatile, high-quality bicycle designed for discerning cyclists. Priced at 2,499 EUR, it offers an impressive combination of lightness, stability and advanced technology.

The Grandurance Expert’s frame is made from 28” ultra-lite HSC carbon, which reduces the bike’s total weight to just 9 kg. Despite its light weight, the bike is robust and has a maximum load capacity of 110 kg. The fork is also made of carbon (BGM Allroad Carbon) and features a carbon steerer tube as well as a 12x100 mm axle with mudguard mounts.

For the brakes, Bergamont has opted for the Shimano GRX hydraulic disc brake system, BR-RX400, which, together with the Shimano GRX ST-RX400 brake levers and a 160 mm Shimano SM-RT64 front brake disc, ensures reliable braking performance. The gear system is also from Shimano (GRX, RD-RX400, Shadow Plus) and, with a 2x10-speed road STI shifter (Shimano GRX, ST-RX400), offers a precise and smooth gear-changing experience. The front derailleur is the Shimano GRX model, FD-RX400.

The bike’s drivetrain consists of a Shimano BB-RS500 Press-Fit bottom bracket, a Shimano GRX FC-RX600 crankset with 46/30t chainrings and a Shimano CS-HG50 cassette with 11–36t. The chain is a KMC X10.

The Grandurance Expert’s cockpit is completed by the Satori X-Race Aero handlebars with a 16° flare and BGM Race Grip-Tape grips, which are both non-slip and shock-absorbing. The stem is a Satori Viper with a -7° angle. The headset is an Acros ZS56 A-Headset, semi-integrated and tapered.

The wheelsets feature Syncros Capital 2.0 rims and are fitted with Schwalbe G-One Bite tyres, which are foldable, Tubeless-Easy and feature Raceguard (45-622). The hubs are BGM Allroad models with CentreLock disc brake mounts and axles measuring 12x100 mm at the front and 12x142 mm at the rear. The spokes are made from black stainless steel.

The saddle area features a Syncros Tofino 2.5 saddle and a Syncros 2.5 seatpost. Pedals are not included with this model.
