Bergamont Grandurance 8

The "Grandurance 8" model from the "Bergamont" brand, released in 2022, is a versatile and high-performance bike designed for discerning cyclists. Priced at EUR 1,999, this bike offers an impressive combination of high-quality materials and advanced technology.

The Grandurance 8’s frame is made from ultra-lightweight AL-6061 aluminium with a 28-inch size, resulting in a total weight of just 10 kg. The maximum load capacity is 115 kg, ensuring solid load-bearing capability. Excellent braking performance is provided by the Shimano GRX BR-RX400 hydraulic disc brakes, which, in combination with the Shimano GRX ST-RX600/BL-RX600 brake levers and a 160 mm Shimano SM-RT64 front brake disc, ensuring reliable deceleration.

The bike’s gear system consists of a Shimano GRX RD-RX812 Shadow Plus derailleur with a 1x11-speed system, controlled via the Shimano GRX ST-RX600 shift lever. This enables precise and smooth gear changes. The drivetrain is supported by a KMC X11 chain and comprises a Shimano GRX FC-RX600 crankset with 40 teeth and a Shimano SLX CS-M7000 cassette with 11–42 teeth.

A BGM Allroad Carbon fork with a carbon steerer tube, a 12x100 mm axle and a mudguard mount ensures a lightweight yet stable ride. The bike is fitted with Syncros Capital 2.0 rims and Schwalbe G-One Bite tyres, which are tubeless-ready and offer additional puncture protection thanks to their Raceguard technology.

Other features include a Satori X-Race Aero handlebar with a 16° flare, BGM Race Grip-Tape grips, a Satori Viper stem with a -7° angle, and an Acros ZS56 headset, which is semi-integrated and tapered. The hubs are BGM Allroad models with CentreLock disc mounts and 12x100 mm front and 12x142 mm rear axles. The spokes are double-butted, made of stainless steel and painted black.

The Syncros Tofino 2.5 saddle and Syncros 2.5 seatpost provide additional comfort for long rides. The Grandurance 8 is supplied without pedals, allowing the rider to fit their preferred pair.
