Bergamont Grandurance 6

The "Grandurance 6" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, offers an impressive combination of lightness, stability and advanced technology at a price of EUR 1,799. The bike’s frame is made from an ultra-light AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 28-inch wheels. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, whilst the bike itself weighs just 10 kg.

The Grandurance 6 is designed for riders between 156 cm and 167 cm in height, making it a good fit for shorter riders. The front and rear hydraulic disc brakes are Shimano GRX, model BR-RX400, and, together with the Shimano SM-RT64 brake discs with a diameter of 160 mm, ensure reliable braking performance. The brake levers are also from Shimano GRX, model ST-RX400.

The bike’s gear system is supported by a Shimano GRX RD-RX400 Shadow Plus rear derailleur and a Shimano GRX FD-RX400 front derailleur. The 20 gears can be shifted precisely using the Shimano GRX ST-RX400 shift levers. The bottom bracket is a Shimano Hollowtech II, BSA, and the crankset consists of a Shimano GRX, FC-RX600 with 46/30t chainrings. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG50 with an 11–36t range, whilst power is transmitted via a KMC X10 chain.

The Grandurance 6’s fork is made of aluminium and is fitted with a 12x100 mm axle and flat-mount brake mounts. It has three mounting eyelets on each side. The rims are Shining DB-T260 Disc models, fitted with black stainless steel spokes. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Bite, foldable, Tubeless-Easy and fitted with Raceguard, in size 45-622 at both the front and rear.

The handlebars are Satori X-Race with a 16° flare, whilst the grips are BGM Race Grip-Tape Antislip. The stem is a Syncros 3.0 with an angle of +/-10° and a length of 75 mm. The headset is an Acros ZS56, semi-integrated and tapered.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5 and the seatpost is also by Syncros. The hubs are BGM Allroad Centre Lock Disc models, with a 12x100 mm axle at the front and a 12x142 mm axle at the rear.

In terms of geometry, the Grandurance 6 offers a reach of 380 mm and a stack of 560 mm. The seat tube length is 485 mm and the top tube length is 530 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees and the seat tube angle is 75 degrees. The head tube length is 120 mm, the chainstay length is 435 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm. The fork offset is 50 mm, the top tube height is 776 mm and the fork installation height is 420 mm. The crank length is 165 mm and the wheelbase is 1041 mm, whilst the bottom bracket height is 294 mm.

The Grandurance 6 is supplied without pedals and comes packaged in a box measuring 25 mm wide, 85 mm high and 161 mm long. The total gross weight is 18,400 g.
