Bergamont Grandurance 4

The "Grandurance 4" model from Bergamont, released in 2024, is a versatile and high-performance bicycle available at a price of 1,199 EUR. The frame is made from a super-light AL-6061 tube set with a 28-inch size, contributing to the bike’s total weight of 11 kg. The maximum load capacity is 120 kg, ensuring a robust construction and high load-bearing capacity.

The bike is suitable for riders between 181 cm and 193 cm in height. It is fitted with Tektro MD-C400 mechanical disc brakes at both the front and rear. The brake levers are from the Shimano Sora series (ST-R3000), as are the shift levers, which enable a 2x9-speed drivetrain. The front derailleur and rear derailleur are also part of the Shimano Sora series (FD-R3000 and RD-R3000). The brake discs have a diameter of 160 mm and are also from Tektro (TR-160-24).

The Grandurance 4’s fork is made of aluminium and is fitted with a quick-release mechanism and a flat-mount bracket. It features three mounting eyelets on each side, offering additional flexibility for accessories. The bottom bracket is a Shimano Hollowtech II, BSA, whilst the crankset consists of a Shimano Sora FC-R3000 with 50/34 teeth. The cassette is a Shimano CS-HG201 with 11–34 teeth, and the drivetrain uses a KMC X9 chain.

The bike features Satori X-Race handlebars with a 16-degree flare, BGM Race Grip-Tape anti-slip grips and a Syncros 3.0 stem with an angle of +/-10 degrees and a length of 90 mm. The handlebars are 440 mm wide. The headset is an Acros ZS56, A-Headset, semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Shining DB-T260 Disc, and the spokes are made of black stainless steel. The tyres are Schwalbe G-One Bite RaceGuard, size 45-622, fitted to both the front and rear. The hubs are BGM Pro; the front hub is a Centre Lock disc hub and the rear hub is a 6-hole disc quick-release hub.

The saddle is a Syncros Tofino 2.5, mounted on a Syncros seatpost. The packaging dimensions are 27 mm wide, 82 mm high and 158 mm long, with a gross weight of 18,920 g.

The bike’s geometry comprises a reach of 410 mm, a stack of 617 mm, a seat tube length of 560 mm and a top tube length of 575 mm. The head tube angle is 70 degrees and the seat tube angle is 75 degrees. The head tube length is 180 mm, the chainstay length is 435 mm and the bottom bracket drop is 70 mm. Further dimensions include a fork offset of 50 mm, a top tube height of 841 mm, a fork installation height of 420 mm, a crank length of 175 mm, a wheelbase of 1091 mm and a bottom bracket height of 294 mm.
