Bergamont E-Revox Rigid EQ

The 2021 E-Revox Rigid EQ from Bergamont is a high-quality e-bike designed for a variety of uses. Priced at 3,699 EUR, it offers a wide range of technical features and a robust build. The e-bike’s frame is made from an ultra-lightweight AL-6061 tube set and is designed for 27.5-inch wheels. The integrated Bosch PowerTube battery, with a capacity of 625 Wh, ensures a long range and seamless integration into the frame design.

The E-Revox Rigid EQ has a maximum permissible weight of 135 kg, whilst its kerb weight is 24 kg. The Shimano BR-MT420 hydraulic disc brakes with 4-piston calipers and SM-RT30 rotors (203 mm at the front, 180 mm at the rear) ensure reliable braking performance. The Shimano BL-MT201 brake levers complement the braking system perfectly.

The drivetrain features the Shimano Deore XT RD-M8000 Shadow Plus, combined with a Shimano Deore SL-M5100 shifter. The system offers 11 gears and enables precise gear changes. The BGM MTB rigid fork contributes to the bike’s stability and control.

For lighting, the e-bike is fitted with a Litemove SE front light (70 lux, LED, e-bike version) and a Herrmans H-Trace Mini rear light (LED). The bottom bracket is from Bosch (Isis), whilst the crankset is an FSA CK-320 with 34 teeth and a length of 170 mm. The Shimano Deore CS-M5100 cassette offers a gear ratio of 11–51 teeth.

Power is transmitted via a KMC e11S chain. The Syncros Hixon 2.0 Mini Riser handlebars have a rise of 15 mm and a width of 740 mm (720 mm for size S). The grips are Ergon GA20, and the stem is a Syncros FL2.0 with an angle of +/-6 degrees. The BGM F13-X headset is semi-integrated and tapered.

The rims are Alex EXR30, fitted with Schwalbe Super Moto tyres (27.5 x 2.40 inches). The hubs are Shimano HB-MT400-B (front) and FH-MT400-B (rear), both with Centre Lock and disc mounts. The spokes are Sapim Leader.

The Ergon SM10 E-Mountain saddle and the Syncros M3.0 seatpost offer a high level of comfort. Mudguards from Curana Apollo with stainless steel struts, as well as a luggage rack from New Racktime / BGM Carrier, round off the specification.

Power is provided by a fourth-generation Bosch Performance Line CX Cruise motor with an output of 250 W and a maximum speed of 25 km/h. The Bosch Purion display shows all the key information.

The geometry of the E-Revox Rigid EQ comprises a reach of 393 mm, a stack of 619 mm, a seat tube length of 420 mm and a top tube length of 582 mm. The head tube angle is 69 degrees, and the seat tube angle is 73 degrees. The head tube measures 120 mm, the chainstay length is 480 mm, and the bottom bracket drop is 69 mm. The fork offset is 45 mm, the top tube height is 751 mm, the fork installation height is 485 mm and the wheelbase is 1122 mm.
